Hola Alumnos!
Mid-terms are finally over! It is time to continue learning new information.
TUTORING INFORMATION:
There will be a tutoring clinic this Tuesday, January 24, in room 304 immediately after school. Some of you were asked to attend due to poor quiz/test grades.If you are having difficulty, please attend.I will introduce you to our tutors and you can make up a schedule for future tutoring.
All tests or quizzes below a 70 must be signed by a parent and returned to me the following day corrected.
HOMEWORK
Homework will always be posted on the whiteboard in class. Homework is given everyday. If you are absent you are responsible for completing any missing assignment. You should be reviewing all information given in class at home on a daily basis.
SPANISH l
We will continue with Chapter 4, Que Comemos y Donde.. We will review vocabulary related to food, the three main meals, drinks.There will be a QUIZ on on Wednesday.Please review text pg 128-129.
HOMEWORK- Text book pg 155, finish translating all remaining vocabulary words. Workbook pg 4.3
SPANISH lll
We will continue Chapter 3 Pasaje de la Vida. We talked about passages of life, birth, baptism, weddings. We will continue with birthdays and funerals. You will continue to learn the subjunctive tense and use it to express wishes and emotions. We will be reviewing text pg 74 ex 5 and pg 75 ex. 7, 8.This week we will also review possessive pronouns mi carro- el mio. There will be a quiz Wednesday on subjunctive with phrases such as: Espero que, Inistes en que, Tengo miedo de que…Friday there will be a quiz on subjunctive with expression of emotion and possessive pronouns.
