Hola Alumnos!
We have two more marking periods left. Let”s make the remainder of our time a success! Tienen que estudiar y aprender mucho!
TUTORING INFORMATION:
There will be a tutoring clinic this Wednesday, February 22, in room 304 immediately after school. Some of you were asked to attend due to poor quiz/test grades.If you are having difficulty, please attend.I will introduce you to our tutors and you can make up a schedule for future tutoring.
All tests or quizzes below a 70 must be signed by a parent and returned to me the following day corrected.
HOMEWORK
Homework will always be posted on the whiteboard in class. Homework is given everyday. If you are absent you are responsible for completing any missing assignment. You should be reviewing all information given in class at home on a daily basis.
SPANISH l
The test you took last week will be returned to you. Your grades are dropping dramatically and you are not returning tests below 70 signed. I will be advising your parents regarding your grades this week.
HOMEWORK-
You were assigned a winter break project to help with your grades. You are to create a menu. You will be serving breakfast, luunch and dinner, beverages and dessert. Use the vocabulary learned in this chapter. You are to include illustrations( internet photos, cut outs form magazines or circulars). You will be graded on-
-creativity, originality( Do not copy menus from the internet), name your cafe or restaurant.
-use of illustrations, color, graphics
- evidence of preplanning( no pencil lettering, must look finished, must meet all criterias mentioned.)
- correct usage of language
-No inappropriate items such as alcohol or images of such.
This project is worth a test grade. It must be submitted Wednesday, February 22. No exceptions.
SPANISH lll
We will start the new chapter, Quehaceres, Chapter 4. You should have translated the new vocabulary. Be ready to recognize words and apply them. If vocabulary is not translated upon your return, you will be given detention.
HOMEWORK
During the break you were given work sheets which must be completed and returned on Wednesday, February 22. It will be graded and returned to you.
